Tanasha Says Diamond Lost Taste In Her, Asks Him To Keep Disputed Posh Car
Diamond Platinumz’ ex Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna has told the “Jeje” hitmaker to keep all possessions they shared when they were fervidly in love before their recent bitter split.
Speaking in an interview with True Love Magazine barely a month after the two former lovebirds called it quits, Tanasha categorically said she is disinterested in taking a car gifted on her birthday in July last year by Diamond.
“I am not going to leave a relationship saying I am taking the car or a certain thing. You (Diamond) can have all that. I can get myself all I need,” she said.
Tanasha was responding to claims that Diamond’s mother Sandra Kassim forcefully took her posh birthday present ride, Toyota Land cruiser V8. Dispelling reports suggest that Diamond had registered the car under his mother’s name.
The Kenyan musician now says she is unconcerned and uninterested in claiming the car.
She said: “The car is in TZ. I have no interest in taking it. I have my BMW here. I can get myself a car.”
Tanasha who also spoke in details about her estranged relationship with the Bongo star which was marred with allegations of infidelity and manipulation revealed why their accord hit a snag.
“You may have certain expectations when you get to a relationship and things don’t turn out exactly the way you want them to,” she said
Tanasha intimated that Diamond lost taste in her at some point hence her efforts to rekindle their amour ran aground.
According to her, she had no choice but to knock off the hanky-panky that left her with a son.
Tanasha avers that it was not an easy decision to make but she is certain that hanging the towel was best for herself and her son since she was the only one fighting for the survival of the relationship.
“At some point, I was a bit lost especially with the child involved. Things were getting rocky for the last six months but we were trying to see how we could make things work. But it got to a point where the other person (Diamond) is just not interested. It’s not his fault...,” said Tanasha.
She added: “I would say it is because of not living to certain expectations he had. I wanted to be my own person as well as being in this relationship.”
As a parting shot, Tanasha urged those courting to respectfully set some boundaries and withdraw from any of their partner’s superintendent attempts.
“Respect them (partners) but when it gets a point where they try to be controlling, that’s where you set your boundaries and say I am the wrong person to control.”
Tanasha believes in the postmodern era where women do not have to do everything their men want to make them good partners terming it as toxic.
“A lot of women do not know what love is and I was one of those women. Try to look at things from a logical perspective. Women tend to think and feel with the heart but take your feelings aside for some minutes or an hour and look at the thing with your mind from a logical perspective,” she said.
