Manchester United Football Club (MUFC) Legend Dwight Yorke was in Kenya over the past weekend, to host the launch of Chivas Regal #AfroblendNights in Nairobi, Kenya (7 - 8 March 2020). A press conference held in the city on Sunday, unveiled him to excited Kenyan media and sports enthusiasts.
He was joined by Emmanuel Osinde, the Chivas brand ambassador in Kenya, as the two announced the exclusive partnership between Chivas and MUFC.
The Signature event held at Blue Door on the same day was successful and a true blend of football, music, fashion and great whisky, as Dwight was joined by a host of celebrities, influencers, media personalities, brand representatives and Manchester United fans at the star-studded signature event and viewing party.
Performers included South Africa’s DJ Zinle and from Kenya: Mixmaster Lenny and Chris Kaiga.
A similar Chivas Regal #AfroblendNights Signature event was held in two other countries (7 - 8 March 2020) simultaneously and was hosted by 3 other MUFC Legends; Louis Saha in Zambia, Quinton Fortune & Wes Brown in Cameroon, all of them practicing and embodying what ‘Success is a Blend’ truly means.
To launch the exclusive partnership, since November 2019, teams across these countries have hosted a series of viewing parties on game nights, where Chivas Regal provided an elevated viewing experience.
