NRG Radio hosts Khaligraph Jones for a Kenyan music takeover Featured

In the wake of the grandest ever #PlayKEmusic debate the industry has ever witnessed, Khaligraph Jones  famed for his top a de top lyrical game and flow, will today be hosted at NRG Radio studios all day to promote Kenyan Music throughout the various shows. 
 
The move is in a bid to prove that Kenya indeed has good content with NRG Radio making history as the first radio station to release its airwaves to artists to control the playlist the entire day.
 
He called out to Kenyan artists to share their music with him for inclusion to his playlist. 
 
Khaligraph Jones last week sparked off the #PlayKeMusic debate after attending the SoundCity Awards that took place in Lagos this year saying Kenyan music doesn’t get enough airplay. This has since seen a host of stakeholders in the industry as well as fans join in the conversation to promote local music.
 
In an Instagram post Khaligraph said “I still believe that we have a lot of good music that doesn’t see the light of day because of lack of platforms and attention and so NRG  Radio have allowed me to control their playlist for one day and prove to some of y’all that Kenyan Music is fire. I shall take over the airwaves from morning and blaze that Good Kenyan music all day long”
