Capital Youths Caucus Association Secretary General Evans Momanyi has called on youth to get involved in addressing the problems youth see in their own communities and encouraged young people to view challenges as space to create opportunities and innovative economic solutions.

Speaking after a meeting with the Second Secretary (UNEP focal) at Embassy of Japan in Kenya, Yume Yorita, Momanyi called on governments, and donors to be allies and bring youth into leadership roles as partners.

"Our focus on youths, disability and Women is at our heart to change our society" said Momanyi.

Adding " As youths, we need to be on the table of decision making especially when it comes to issues affecting us".

Momanyi urged young people to insist on making their way to the decision-making table.

He stressed that their energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative drive can revolutionize.

Momanyi noted "If given the chance, we the youths can bring great changes in our country".

He further argued that through amplifying youth leadership and creating formalised structures for youth decision-making the country can more appropriately address the challenges youth face.
