Multi-talented Nigerian-American singer-songwriter and record producer WurlD teamed up with Sarz, one of the baddest producers in Nigeria, to produce the 8-track EP: I LOVE GIRLS WITH TROBUL (ILGWT), released November of 2019.

Sitting on the success of ILGWT and co-writing one of the biggest tracks of 2019, “Blow My Mind” by Davido and Chris Brown, WurlD is set to release yet a new body of work in 2020.

WulrD says, “It’s easy to follow trends and play safe in a world where being original is not celebrated as much anymore. I just want to connect with people while staying true to my art and my brand.”

“MAD” is the lead single of ILGWT project. It’s a mid-tempo Afrobeat and Pop record about an emotionally distressed lover.

Although still in love, he complains about a toxic relationship.

The music video shot in Lagos Nigeria and directed by Chukwuka Nwobi, Baba Agba, Muktar and Wurld, depicts the all too familiar narrative of a couple that are bad together, yet mad without each other. Following the sour end of events in the film for “Ego Nobody Wins”; “MAD” music video gives the inside scoop of this troubled relationship, posing a burning question to the fans: should WurlD and Sade get back together?

As the country intensifies the war on the coronavirus, Mombasa-based manufacturer Pwani Oil has partnered with Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) to produce 60,000 half litre bottles of hand sanitizer to be distributed free to the public.

This is equivalent to 30,000 litres of hand sanitizer, recommended as an effective precaution against the coronavirus Covid 19 respiratory disease.

This comes as the government strengthens its collaboration with the private sector to scale up the production of essential materials for use by the general public and health workers in managing the spread of Covid 19 in the country.

Pwani Oil Commercial Director Rajul Malde said the partnership with KPC is part of the company’s ongoing initiatives to support of the country’s effort to contain Covid 19.

“We continue to scale up our support to ongoing efforts by the government and other partners to prevent the spread of coronavirus, using our capabilities and facilities, and as part of our contribution as a business to the wellbeing of all Kenyans,” said Mr. Malde.

He added that Pwani Oil, which manufactures cooking oil, soap and detergents, was focusing its interventions at the grassroots level where they would have the most impact, especially in identified Covid 19 hotspots in various parts of the county.

Kenya Pipeline Company Chairman John Ngumi lauded the gesture by Pwani Oil saying it is aligned with the government’s goal of engaging private sector and other stakeholders in fighting Covid 19.

“This is a good example of a public-private partnership to deliver targeted interventions against the coronavirus pandemic. We need everyone on board in ensuring we have adequate resources to prevent the further spread of this dangerous disease among our people,” said Mr. Ngumi.

On March 18, the government ordered the release of 400,000 litres of ethanol in its stores, seized through legal processes, for use in the manufacture of alcohol-based hand sanitizers to meet the growing demand in the wake of the coronavirus Covid 19 outbreak.

KPC was mandated by the government to oversee the distribution of the ethanol to various firms that have volunteered to make hand sanitizers for public use.

Mr. Malde says Pwani Oil has the facilities to produce hand sanitizers and the company was ready to assist in any way it can working other stakeholders to provide essential sanitary items.

Pwani Oil has in addition to reducing prices on some of its soap brands, donated hand washing kits and soap for use at strategic public points.

The firm has partnered with the Kenya Ferry Services to provide soap on ferries and also distributed hand washing equipment to be used in police stations, health facilities and other public spaces across the country.

The company has also partnered with the Kenya Progressive Nurses Association to provide 122 hand washing kits and 70 cartons of soap to be distributed to medical personnel in hospitals across eleven counties.

Pwani Oil has also been engaging in a public sensitization campaign on the Covid 19 disease prevention and importance of washing hands.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends the use of hand sanitizers with an alcohol (ethanol) content of at least 60 percent as one way of curbing the spread of the coronavirus through regular washing of hands.

Tanzanian Musician Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi popularly known as Mbosso has cleared the air concerning his newly acquired white Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

The high-end ride has been likened to the disputed car which Diamond Platinumz gifted his ex-girlfriend and Kenyan musician Tanasha Donna on her birthday last year.

Mbosso’s new car sparked online whispers as fans insinuated that he might have endowed Tanasha’s car after the latter and Diamond severed ties and since it was revealed that Tanasha was reportedly forced to leave the car in Tanzania.

Speaking to True Love Magazine recently, Tanasha said she left the disputed car which was supposed to be her memorable 2019 birthday gift in Tanzania.

“I am not going to leave a relationship saying I am taking the car or a certain thing. You (Diamond) can have all that. I can get myself all I need,” she said.

Mbosso, however, has dispelled the allegations and termed them as of false.

“I was told if I am not careful, this car will be mistaken for Tanasha’s. This is my car and I thank God. It is a month old,” the ‘Hodari’ hit-maker told Wasafi Media.

The Wasafi signee would later on produce receipts as proof of ownership to completely debunk the claims.

Mbosso also intimated that he blessed his parents with a brand new car and a luxurious house.

“For me, this is a big achievement being able to gift them a car and a house,” he said attributing his recent success to multiple abroad stage performances.

He also intimated his relationship status after breaking up with her recent and fourth baby mama Rukia.

Rukia who has been Mbosso’s better half for quite some time birthed a baby boy July last year but her relationship with the WCB signee has recently hit a bottom rock.

Asked on whether he misses Rukia, the “Hodari” hit-maker said  he doesn’t miss her very much but they are co-parenting.

“We have never been close the way people think,” Mbosso told Wasafi Media adding that they have been living apart even when they were romantically involved.

He downplayed possibilities he might being someone else at the moment.

“My first and second baby mamas got married. The third passed away and the fourth (Ruki), we have been having frequent misunderstandings. But now we talk and when I get a chance I check up on my kid.”

Mbosso affirmed that he is currently not dating.

In this Woud Omollo produced track, Ms. Sunshine sings her heart out explaining different love paths experienced by different people. 'Jana' is a Swahili word translating to “yesterday” and in this context, it has been used to celebrate all types of love & it’s attraction towards it.

The video was shot in the coastal shores of Ukunda showcasing the breathtaking beach under the direction of the Kenyan film director VJ One.

Ms. Sunshine said “On a personal level... Jana is like my love quest that is my own personal serenade. My hope in meeting and loving again".

"I am a single mom raising 2 boys and I must say the hustle is real when searching for that soul mate while balancing my career life. Love is everything and everything is love”

Diamond Platinumz’ ex Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna has told the “Jeje” hitmaker to keep all possessions they shared when they were fervidly in love before their recent bitter split.

Speaking in an interview with True Love Magazine barely a month after the two former lovebirds called it quits, Tanasha categorically said she is disinterested in taking a car gifted on her birthday in July last year by  Diamond.

“I am not going to leave a relationship saying I am taking the car or a certain thing. You (Diamond) can have all that. I can get myself all I need,” she said.

Tanasha was responding to claims that Diamond’s mother Sandra Kassim forcefully took her posh birthday present ride, Toyota Land cruiser V8. Dispelling reports suggest that Diamond had registered the car under his mother’s name.

The Kenyan musician now says she is unconcerned and uninterested in claiming the car.

She said: “The car is in TZ. I have no interest in taking it. I have my BMW here. I can get myself a car.”

Tanasha who also spoke in details about her estranged relationship with the Bongo star which was marred with allegations of infidelity and manipulation revealed why their accord hit a snag.

“You may have certain expectations when you get to a relationship and things don’t turn out exactly the way you want them to,” she said

Tanasha intimated that Diamond lost taste in her at some point hence her efforts to rekindle their amour ran aground.

According to her, she had no choice but to knock off the hanky-panky that left her with a son.

Tanasha avers that it was not an easy decision to make but she is certain that hanging the towel was best for herself and her son since she was the only one fighting for the survival of the relationship.

“At some point, I was a bit lost especially with the child involved. Things were getting rocky for the last six months but we were trying to see how we could make things work. But it got to a point where the other person (Diamond) is just not interested. It’s not his fault...,” said Tanasha.

She added: “I would say it is because of not living to certain expectations he had. I wanted to be my own person as well as being in this relationship.”

As a parting shot, Tanasha urged those courting to respectfully set some boundaries and withdraw from any of their partner’s superintendent attempts.

“Respect them (partners) but when it gets a point where they try to be controlling, that’s where you set your boundaries and say I am the wrong person to control.”

Tanasha believes in the postmodern era where women do not have to do everything their men want to make them good partners terming it as toxic.

“A lot of women do not know what love is and I was one of those women. Try to look at things from a logical perspective. Women tend to think and feel with the heart but take your feelings aside for some minutes or an hour and look at the thing with your mind from a logical perspective,” she said.

Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz's manager Sallam Sharaff is now out of danger from the coronvavirus.

In an instgaram post, Sallam revealed that he has now fully recovered from the disease after successful completing 14 days of quarantine.

“After 14 days got tested twice and both results came negative and now I am out of isolation centre. Thanks to Allah. Thanks to doctor’s nurses and the government,” posted Sallam.

ALLAH IS GREAT.”

On 19th March, Sallam revealed that he had tested positive for the disease after a trip from abroad. This prompted his artist Diamond Platnumz and crew to go on self quarantine.
