Police in Mombasa are investigating an incident where a prison warden shot an inspectorate officer yesterday(Tuesday) evening.

Samuel Mwita shot Patrick Omondi with the bullet penetrating the ear and neck. Omondi was later treated at the Coast General Hospital and discharged.

According to the Mombasa County Inspectorate Director Mohamed Amir said trouble started after Mwita committed a traffic offence and turned hostile.

Mombasa Police Boss has assured that the investigations will not be interfered with and the findings will be out by tomorrow (Thursday) morning.

One of the major stories that has been trending on social media is that of the alleged break up between singer Otile Brown and Vera Sidika.

The rumours started doing rounds after the two deleted photos of each other on their social media pages just few weeks after coming from a vacation in Mauritus.

Otile Brown has however deny this through an interview with one of the local dailies.

He is quoted saying "And by the way, I love Vee - and God forbid - if we ever part ways, life has to go on, so don’t dwell on that. Till then, we lit.”

To prove his point right, Otile has released a new song titled 'baby Love' which is a dedication to Vera Sidika who also doubles up as the model in the video.

In an earlier interview Otile revealed how he had recorded two songs dedicated to Vera but he had to delete one since Vera only liked one.

I did sing her a song expressing how I feel about her coz I love her. The song was called Vera and to tell the truth, sababu ambayo niliiondoa huo wimbo kwenye YouTube yangu ni kwa sababu yeye alitaka wimbo mwingine tofauti, alipenda wimbo mwingine tofauti kuliko huo ambao nilikuwa nimemuimbia coz niliimba nyimbo mbili na kwa kuwa mimi nilikuwa nimemdedicatia ule nikaona kwamba I pull it down alafu maybe when the time is right pengine huenda akatokea kwenye video kwenye hio ingine. Lakini sioni kama ni tatizo kumuimbia mpenzi wako about how you feel about her, so it’s not an issue,”  stated Otile
