Now on its third year, join Kenya’s premiere multiday and venue Jamhuri Festival 2018 in celebration of Kenya’s Independence Day through music and arts this festive season.
The 2018 edition of Jamhuri Festival (11th -16th Dec 2018) promises to be a hit, taking center stage in a fusion of music, arts and fashion paired with several performances and activities set at six different Nairobi venues—SXSX style in the heart of Nairobi!
The annual festival will open big on its first day (Tuesday 11th Dec 2018) with a special and nostalgic showcase just ahead of Kenya’s Independence Day with a main concert and stage. All 9 venues will present Kenya’s top music acts and notable and uprising musicians—all who will perform their music live in shows themed in different genres.

Jamhuri Festival is a platform to inspire and introduce Africa’s diverse music talent to a new and wider audience through interaction, collaboration and cooperation amongst artists, while also building a strong brand connection with the young and growing population of Kenya and Africa. Jamhuri Festival has given Kenyan artists a platform to meet other artists, top music producers and a loyal audience to share ideas and collaborate.
It continues to break the walls of both artistic style and genre differences by enabling collaborations across the country and beyond.
