Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Nairobi is pleased to announce the achievement of the Premium Certificate Safehotels award, a new level safety and security initiative for the hotel. 

The certification is based on the Global Hotel Security Standard which is recognized by hotel and travel associations, corporate accounts and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction around the world.

The criteria for the certification achieved by the hotel consists of various standard components relating to Hotel Property Safety and Security Walkthrough, Training and Organization, Security Equipment, Fire Equipment, Fire Training and Crisis Management.

Accor is the first hotel company to achieve Premium Certification for all their brands in Nairobi, Kenya.
