Kenyan gospel artist Daddy Owen has for the first time come out to speak about his marriage that is allegedly on the rocks after reports of split from his wife Farida Wambui.

According to the reports the wife left him for another man, a tycoon and have since been engaged.

In a well crafted response via his instagram page published on Wednesday morning, Owen revealed that he has been receiving alot of calls, messages and support since the reports surfaced.

In the post the vanity hit maker has asked his fans and followers to keep him in their daily prayers pleading for patience.

“I want to take this opportunity to issue an official statement. Thank you to all who have reached out to me in one way or another over the last few days with prayers or encouraging words of support following news circulating in the media involving me and my family. The word of God encourages us in all seasons to rejoice, for the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness,” he wrote.

Adding “This requires us to maintain a perspective of joy in whatever we go through as we know ultimately our walk will produce perfection in God for her makes all things work out for good. Thank you for all encouragement and as I journey through this season, I request for time, patience and lots of prayers as you’ve always supported me in my ministry. I appreciate you for always being there, and I remain confident God will see us through. Love conquers all and love covers a multitude of sins. God bless you.”

In his post the gospel singer has neither confirmed nor denied the reports that his wife left him in the cold and that she was engaged with to thealleged tycoon, this as some quarters continue speculating that the breakup is a stunt.

The couple got married in 2016 in an invite only wedding that was attended by family and friends in the entertainment industry.they have since been blessed with two sons.
