Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone real name Joseph Mayana has lost to the Erias Lukwago in the Kampala city Lord Mayoral elections

Lukwago is the incumbent.

The local government elections was held on Wednesday, just few days after presidential elections in which NRM’s Yoweri Museveni extended his 35-year rule as declared on Saturday.

Chameleone who was running as an independent candidate came fourth place with 12,212 votes, Lukwago got 194,592 votes.

Nabilah Naggayi Sempala came second with 60,082 votes. The elections attracted a total of 11 candidates.
