Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime is in mourning following the loss of her mother.

Taking to social media, Kansiime said that her mother died on Sunday morning.

God's ways are indeed not our ways! My mother has gone to be with the Lord this morning.'

Her death comes barely two months after Kansiime and her boyfriend Skylanta gave birth to their first son.

Several celebrities and fans sent condolence messages to the 35-year-old comedia.

 “Deepest condolences Darling. May Mum rest with her fellow angels.” wrote Abel Mutua.

Tanznaian rapper Rosa_ree said, “Oh noo so sorry for your losss love. Take heart. May her soul find eternal peace"

On her part Ugandan singer Spice Diana posted "Oh no, may her soul rest in peace Bambi".
