Mr. John Quinn—the celebrity global brand ambassador of Tullamore D.E.W is currently in Kenya till Friday 12th Oct 2018 on a mission to highlight Tullamore D.E.W- the world's second bestselling Irish whiskey.

While in Nairobi, Quinn is sharing his vast knowledge and expertise with bar staff, bar managers, influencers and consumers.

He will also host two high profile events,  a private and intimate “supper club” and a finale Meet & Greet party backed up with the #powerof3

John Quinn, who is in Kenya for his second visit noted: “I am very excited to be back to Nairobi to share more about a whiskey that is close to my heart. Tullamore D.E.W. is the only whiskey to insist on the ‘Power of Three’ and this is demonstrated in its three key stages of whiskey making.

"It’s a triple distilled, triple blend of all three types of whiskey, matured in three types of cask.” he added 

Mr. John Quinn’s stature of garnering over 40 years in the industry ultimately makes him the longest serving whiskey brand ambassador to date.

He was recognized and won “Whiskey Brand Ambassador of the year” at Whiskey Magazine’s Icons of Whisky awards in 2016.

He has been named among world’s Top 10 Most Influential People in Irish whiskey.

Mr. John Quinn has been a global brand ambassador long before the social media era and is one of the few renowned ambassadors who have experience across eras.

When it comes to whiskey, from grain to glass, the man is a travelling storehouse of knowledge and he’s ready to share it with all whiskey lovers in Kenya.

Tullamore D.E.W. is the world’s second largest Irish whiskey brand with global sales of more than one million (9L) cases annually.

The origins of Tullamore D.E.W. whiskey can be traced back to 1829 when the distillery was founded in Tullamore, County Offaly.

Daniel E. Williams, the youngest employee of Tullamore D.E.W. worked his way up from the age of fourteen, at the lowest rungs of the distillery to become the outright owner, by the age of twenty-five. creating a whiskey so distinctive and character-filled, it could only be stamped with his initials: D.E.W. Legendary.
