Video: Kagwe Mungai releases 'Clubbin' Nairobi version Featured

In typical fashion, Taurus Musik’s vibes master, Kagwe Mungai has dropped another banger titled ‘Clubbin.’

The song was created during his stay in Dubai for the unveiling of Kagwe Mungai as the face of Aramnda. Drawing significant inspiration from the original version of the song ‘Clubbin’ by Marques Houston ft. Joe Budden and originally produced by R. Kelly, it is simply his depiction of a night out clubbing in the vibrant streets of Nairobi.

The video to the song is a montage showcasing nightlife revelers doing what they do best in clubs around Nairobi. Popular mentions in the song include Joe Muchiri, Huddah Monroe, DJ Mix Master Lenny and DJ Protégé. He goes a step further and talks about various Nairobi party spots including Kiza, 1824, Jikoni’s, and Alchemist. Kagwe Mungai’s previously released hits: Superseena, Till the End and Baas, among other tunes, have been enjoying heavy rotation on reputable radio stations across Africa.

Kagwe Mungai is also expected to travel to Accra, Ghana for the Afrima Awards where he will battle his nomination for East African Male Artist with other industry households. “I’m already so honored to have been selected amongst the greatest artists of our generation for me it’s huge…but if we walk out with the trophy the victory will be for Kenya. So go vote!!! Lets bring this home. In the meantime enjoy the sweet sounds of Clubbin” Voting is still open and you can vote for Kagwe Mungai via this link https://afrima.org/voting2018/voting polls close on the 21st November 2018.
