Ugandan musician and former Kenya tourism ambassador, Eddy Kenzo real name Edirisa Musuza is currently under suicide watch.

This follows last week's traditional wedding of his baby mama, songstress Rema Namakula.

Ever since that function, Kenzo's social media accounts have been filled with rants and threats, including taking his life.

"I have received a lot of calls good messages from family friends and my big fans and Eddy Kenzo diehards, telling me not to write on social media again. I do agree 100% with you what I'm doing is wrong but I'm ready to die. I will be happy to follow my mother in peace," reads one of his recent post on social media.

It all began in March this year when Rema, who had been married to Kenzo for over 5 years decided to leave their home in Seguku and relocated to Namugongo, a Kampala suburb.

It would later turn out she had moved into another man's house, Dr Hamza Ssebunya.

And in a space of less than a year, the couple is close to formalising their union.

According to reports, among the reasons Rema gives for leaving the 'Sitya Loss' hit maker is that he dumped her at their home for two years and rented another house in Buziga, where he has been staying allegedly cheating on her with several women among who include singer Lydia Jazmine, a former participant in Coke Studio.

She further accuses him of hardly being home as he spends most of his time outside the country and even when he is around, he spends most of his time at his rented house.

Kenzo and Rema have a 5 year old daughter though Kenzo has another daughter from a previous marriage.
