Mama Muthoni Launches First Kenyan Weaning Cookbook 'Little Foodies' Featured

Wangeci Wandere Kihara aka Mama Muthoni is no stranger to the food industry, having owned and operated Mama Muthoni foods for a few years. However what sets Wangeci apart from the most food enthusiasts /chefs is her desire to provide the most unique yet simple recipes. 

A certified lactation, child nutrition consultant, and new parent educator. Wangeci is passionate about helping mothers navigate their parenting journey through lactation, nutrition and all things motherhood. 

This past Saturday 16th July, Wangeci launched the highly anticipated Little Foodies cookbook which focuses on establishing good infant feeding practices. 

 Mama Muthoni focuses on feeding the baby from the family pot. This means that in as much as the baby can have purees from 6 months, the child can quickly be transitioned to the family food/pot.

The food can be mashed/blended depending on the weaning methods that has been selected

The launch which took place at the Emory Hotel was attended by Wangeci's friends, family and influencers from the food and motherhood content spaces who showed up in support of Wangeci's latest venture.

Some of the familiar faces that were in attendance were Mily Wajesus, Kui's Kitchen, Chep IkoNini, Ciru Ciera, Fitness By Stephanie and many others. 

Little Foodies is the first Kenyan Weaning Cookbook available on Kindle and has just been added to the Amazon book list.
