Mombasa Governor has today visited the family of Likoni Mp Mishi to condole with them following the death of her brother Dr Hamisi Ali Juma.

Juma who was among 50 medics sent to Cuba under government sponsorship to study Family Medicine in the framework of an MoU between Kenya and the Caribbean nation died in Cuba on Sunday in a suspected suicide.

"It is a dark and difficult period for all of us in Mombasa and the Country to loose such a young promising Doctor" said Joho

In an interview with one of the local dailies, Health Cabinet secretary Sicily Kariuki revealed that a team of experts leaves for Cuba tonight to investigate the circumstances under which Juma died.

The late Juma is reported to have left behind a young son. Family Members are still waiting for the body to arrive in the country for burial.
